The Townhouse offers superb self catering accommodation in York, North Yorkshire. We are in the shadow of York Minster, only footsteps from the Treasurer’s House and Bar Walls. The heart of the city is only a gentle 1-minute walk away, making us the perfect base for exploring the local area.
AccommodationOur elegant property has been tastefully furnished to offer stylish accommodation. The house sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and there is an additional sofa bed in the lounge.
The basement houses the fully equipped kitchen which has an oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer-dryer. A large dining table seats up to 8 people and there is also a period fireplace, flat-screen TV and a DVD player. On the ground floor is a cosy lounge comfy seating, a flat-screen TV, iPod dock and gorgeous fireplace. A lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring the local area. A WC is also on the ground floor.
On the first floor, there is a master en suite bedroom. The main bathroom is also on the second floor. The second floor has 2 bedrooms: a twin and a king room. All the bedrooms come with a flat-screen TV, Egyptian cotton bed linen and toiletries. The second floor also a WC.
Outside is a delightful courtyard garden with a table and 8 chairs. The perfect place for a glass or two in the evening sun.
Visiting York & Exploring North YorkshireThe Townhouse is in the Minster Quarter, ideal for exploring York's historical centre. The National Railway Museum, the biggest in the world, has more than 100 locomotives to see. York Minster is the largest medieval cathedral in northern Europe and has one of the world’s most stunning gothic buildings. A variety of excellent attractions are in the local area:
York Castle Museum.
The York Dungeon.
National Trust Beningbrough Hall.
