Granary Cottage & The Stables Cottage are a pair of beautifully appointed self catering holiday homes that can be found just outside of Snainton near Pickering. From our holiday homes, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside.

This luxurious cottage is all on one level and can sleep up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The cottage is part of a one-hundred-year-old stables and granary & we have developed and finished it to a high standard to ensure guests have a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

A spacious kitchen/diner is well-equipped and comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking: dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave etc. Unwind in the cosy lounge which has comfy seating, a brick fireplace with an open fire, smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (use own logins) and a DVD player. French doors open onto a patio area with teak garden furniture, a great spot for a glass of wine whilst savouring the country views.

Both of the bedrooms are made up ready for your arrival and are set up as a double and a twin room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and monsoon shower head, basin with shaver point and WC.

Renovated to a high standard, this cottage sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms are made up ready for your arrival and are set up as a master bedroom with king-size bed and a twin/super king-size room. The master bedroom has a free-standing roll-top bath plus an en suite with a luxury corner shower. The second bedroom can be made up into a twin or super king bed depending on your requirements. This room also has an en suite with a shower over the bath. An extra pull-out bed can be provided for children up to 12 years old.

A modern fully fitted kitchen is great for cooking up a storm and includes a dishwasher and separate dining area. You can relax in the open plan living area which has a toasty wood-burner for the winter months, a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (use own logins) and a DVD player. Doors open out onto a Yorkstone patio with Rattan garden furniture. A lovely spot for al fresco dining whilst savouring the outstanding views.

Both Stables Cottage and Granary Cottage can be easily combined for larger parties, yet can still be very private at the same time. Ideal for both couples, a family and friends

The village of Snainton offers a local pub, serving food, a restaurant, a local shop/garage and a children’s play area. The area is perfect for walking and cycling holidays, horse riding and sightseeing. Close by we have Dalby Forest and the North York Moors. Just a short drive away you will find the East Coast, the Victorian seaside town of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby with its famous Abbey. Also on the doorstep are the market towns of Pickering, Malton and Helmsley, The Historic City of York and “Heartbeat country” are all within easy reach. It’s also just a 5-minute drive to the Wolds and David Hockney country. Further attractions to visit include:
