Accommodation

Our charming property is in an idyllic position overlooking the River Swale and ideal for families and friends who are looking to relax, unwind, re-charge and have fun on site while exploring this popular holiday area. The views from every room are breathtaking and provide stunning panoramic vistas of Swaledale. This period-style farmhouse sleeps up to nine people (ten by arrangement) and is beautifully presented with every comfort in mind. Each room is individually furnished with a blend of classic antiques, contemporary pieces, original artwork and fine furnishings. But it is all the extra touches like fresh flowers and the large welcome hamper of local produce that make it really special.

Downstairs there is a large comfortable living room, which is equipped with a flat-screen TV, sound system and wood-burning stove. This is complemented by a separate dining room, together with a cosy snug area that offers a quiet study or reading space. The farmhouse-style kitchen is at the heart of the house and is particularly well-equipped with a large wooden table for informal dining. Just next to the kitchen is a generous utility room providing extra storage. We also have a dedicated pet room for your four-legged friend. This heated room has a water tap, window and external door, with dog basket and basic accessories included.

Upstairs there are five luxurious bedrooms, comprising three doubles, a twin and a single room. The rooms are all individually decorated and each bed is made up with a luxury duvet, plentiful pillows and additional cushions and throws. Three modernised bathrooms are on the first floor and a large downstairs cloakroom has a WC and hand basin. The largest bathroom comes with a lavish Victorian-style bath.
