Come and unwind in one of the charming stone built self catering holiday cottages converted from the original barns formerly a working farm built in the 1800s opposite a dairy farm. Experience the "big skies", the quiet and rural atmosphere with impressive views across open farmland to Whitby Abbey. Whilst you're here relaxing why not say hello to our friends in the fields. The cottages are cosily furnished throughout and the property has an appealing garden to the front. It is well situated for enjoying all that The National Park has to offer and is perfect for exploring the wonderful Yorkshire Coast. The owners live in the adjoining property and personally welcome visitors.

Abbey View House Cottage:
A charming stone built, one bedroomed barn conversion opposite a working dairy farm, in the small rural farming village of High Normanby, close to pretty Fylingthorpe and just 2 miles from Robin Hood's Bay. Cosily furnished throughout, the property has a sitting room to the front with impressive views across open farmland to Whitby Abbey. It is well situated for enjoying all that The National Park has to offer and is perfect for exploring the wonderful Yorkshire Coast. The owners live in the adjoining property and personally welcome visitors.

Accommodation:
(All ground floor) One double bedroom. Bathroom with electric shower, WC and handbasin. Well equipped open galley style fitted kitchen area adjacent to open plan dining and sitting area. There is a sofabed in the sitting area. Note: Almost level access suitable for elderly or accompanied disabled.

Abbey View House Barn:
Recently converted, this old stone built barn is a spacious yet cosy place to stay full of character rebuilt using materials from the original barn. The Barn is situated amongst the farm outbuildings and does not have "a view" from inside the property.

Accommodation:
An attractive, stone built, semi-detached barn conversion, situated in the hamlet of High Normanby, 2 miles from the old fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay. This single storey High Normanby holiday cottage has been sympathetically restored and renovated, providing a wonderful mix of character charm and modern amenities, and being tastefully furnished and decorated, this welcoming High Normanby holiday cottage makes a wonderfully cosy, romantic retreat. Outside, a raised, decked area is the ideal spot to sit and enjoy a drink and relax, while enjoying views over the countryside towards Whitby. From this High Normanby cottage, explore the many public footpaths in the area, including the famous Coast to Coast trail, and delight in the treasures of Robin Hood's Bay with its smuggling history, quaint tumbling cottages and traditional tea rooms. A well situated High Normanby cottage, perfect for discovering the North York Moors and coastal resorts.

Abbey View House GoatShed:
We have recently converted one of the old stone built sheds into a cosy little place to stay. Affectionately known as the GoatShed this new holiday cottage was rebuilt using materials from the original building and is full of character. The GoatShed is situated amongst the farm buildings and is opposite a Dutch Barn but with views of the field to the side. There is a small gravelled area with garden furniture.

Accommodation:
(All ground floor) One double bedroom. Bathroom with large walk-in shower, WC and handbasin. Well equipped open galley style fitted kitchen adjacent to open plan dining and sitting area. There is a sofabed in the sitting area. Note: Almost level access. There is a step down into the property. The access to the GoatShed is via a gravelled driveway.

Attractions in the area include the famous Abbey at Whitby, a spot of fossil hunting around Sandsend, or why not experience the adventure of steam travel on the North Yorkshire Railways which goes through Goathland. You could also view the stunning scenery on the many surrounding walks of Robin Hoods Bay, which is just down the road.
