Harolds Barn offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Briningham, based in a picturesque countryside location. Our barn is just 4 miles from Holt and only opened in May 2022. It is in ideal location for discovering all that Norfolk has to offer.
Our wonderful barn is nestled in the former farmyard in Briningham and boasts amazing views over the valley and fields, perfect for the ultimate country escape. The barn is next door to Myrtle’s Barn and great for two families looking to holiday together in this gorgeous part of the country.
You can unwind in the fabulous open plan living room which offers wonderful features, including a high ceiling and glass-sided oak staircase. The cosy living area has comfy seating, a 50’’ flat-screen TV and a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. Adjacent to the living area is a magnificent dining table from Neptune which easily seats 6 people, perfect for savouring a feast around.
Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has been beautifully designed by a local kitchen company (Arcadia) and manufactured by Siematic in Germany. The kitchen has a Bora integrated hob, bottle fridge, huge Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch integrated double oven and microwave and integrated dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.
In total there are 3 en suite bedrooms which sleep 6 people. Upstairs there is a super king en suite room with fantastic high ceilings. The second upstairs bedroom also contains high ceilings and a super king bed with can be spilt into two singles. Downstairs there is a third bedroom with a super king bed which can be split into a twin, plus a large bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.
All the bedrooms boast quality furniture, Velux windows, plenty of cupboard storage and superb bed linen.
Outside there is a fenced garden and large patio with Bramblecrest outdoor dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.
While staying with us you can visit lots of wonderful attractions in the area. The scenic county of Norfolk is home to amazing countryside, stunning beaches, glorious forests and Broads National Park. Families can visit the brilliant adventure parks or one of the fantastic zoos, whilst the majestic National Trust houses are a must for history fans. Great attractions to visit include:
