Harolds Barn offers self catering accommodation in Briningham, based in a picturesque countryside location. Our barn is just 4 miles from Holt and opened in May 2022. It is in ideal location for discovering all that Norfolk has to offer.
Our barn is nestled in the former farmyard in Briningham and has views over the valley and fields, perfect for a country escape. The barn is next door to Myrtle’s Barn and great for two families looking to holiday together.
You can unwind in the open plan living room which offers features including a high ceiling and glass-sided oak staircase. The cosy living area has comfy seating, a 50’’ flat-screen TV and a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. Adjacent to the living area is a dining table from Neptune which easily seats 6 people, perfect for savouring a feast around.
Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has been designed by a local kitchen company (Arcadia) and manufactured by Siematic in Germany. The kitchen has a Bora integrated hob, bottle fridge, huge Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch integrated double oven and microwave and integrated dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.
In total there are 3 en suite bedrooms which sleep 6 people. Upstairs there is a super king en suite room with high ceilings. The second upstairs bedroom also contains high ceilings and a super king bed with can be spilt into two singles. Downstairs there is a third bedroom with a super king bed which can be split into a twin, plus a large bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.
All the bedrooms have quality furniture, Velux windows, plenty of cupboard storage and superb bed linen.
Outside there is a fenced garden and large patio with Bramblecrest outdoor dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.
While staying with us you can visit lots of attractions in the area. The scenic county of Norfolk is home to countryside, beaches, forests and the Norfolk Broads National Park. Families can visit the adventure parks or one of the zoos, whilst the National Trust houses are a must for history fans. Attractions to visit include:
