The Willows Cottage
The Willows Cottage offers luxury accommodation near Cromer in Norfolk. This lovingly renovated brick and flint cottage dates back 200 years and is the perfect place to escape from the rigours of modern life.
AccommodationThis beautiful cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has plenty of off-road parking and a secure garden.
Once two cottages, The Willows has been sympathetically decorated throughout and offers modern comfort and convenience with a traditional twist. Downstairs the lounge has a huge log burner (free logs!) and comfy sofas, a dining room with seating for 6 people, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge and filtered water tap. A conservatory/utility room has washing machine and tumble dryer for those sandy days at the beach and the luxurious bathroom with shower and bath is also downstairs.
Upstairs (there are two staircases - kids love it!) the spacious master bedroom has the most comfortable super king size French bed imaginable along with free standing wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The nautically themed twin room is also incredibly comfy. There is a passageway linking the two bedrooms with a loo and wash basin. Each bedroom has a Bluetooth clock radio with wireless phone chargers.
Visiting The Cottage & Exploring NorfolkThe cottage is less than a mile from Gunton Station giving an easy and relaxing train journey into Norwich.
Southrepps Common Nature Reserve is just over the garden gate. This award winning SSSI site has over 25 acres of reedbeds and woodland and is home to many species of birds and rare flowers including several species of orchid. Just cross the road and you’re onto the boardwalk and from here you can walk for miles on well marked footpaths or take a circuitous walk through that eventually winds back to the cottage.
Lots of wonderful attractions are in the local area, including Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, Morston Quay and Sheringham Country Park. Cromer is 4 miles away with its amazing pier, vast church and fish and chip shops. Further afield there is a plethora of beaches to visit, shopping in Norwich or for something different Pensthorpe (where Springwatch used to be filmed) is a fantastic day out.
