Situated in the scenic Glaven Valley, No.3 The Postyard is a charming flint cottage that offers cosy accommodations for two guests.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a warm living room featuring an open fireplace, furnished with a dining set, sofa, armchair and TV. A door from the living room opens to a well-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge.

The first floor houses the bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom equipped with a toilet, wash basin, bath and shaver point.

Heating is provided by storage heaters and an immersion heater in the bathroom ensures a supply of hot water. Please note, electricity usage incurs an additional charge beyond the weekly rental rate.

The property includes a private driveway for off-road parking and boasts a lawned garden with a summerhouse, ideal for relaxation. Guests are welcomed to bring one well-behaved adult dog for a nominal fee.

Adjacent to the cottage front is a quaint patio area with outdoor seating. Storage for visitor bicycles is available in one of the garden sheds.

Located just one mile from the Georgian market town of Holt, the cottage serves as a perfect starting point to explore the varied attractions of North Norfolk’s countryside and coastline. The area offers plentiful coastal walks and is a haven for bird watchers, with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre in Cley and Natural Surroundings at the Bayfield Estate nearby. Historic sites such as the National Trust’s Blakeney Point, Felbrigg Hall, and Blicking Hall are all within a short drive. Additionally, the Cathedral City of Norwich, offering culture, history, and shopping, is just a 40-minute drive away. For those interested in local history and cuisine, Letheringsett watermill and the Kings Head pub are conveniently accessible via a short walk along the River Glaven, crossing its ford and footbridge.
