Visiting Lossiemouth & Exploring Morayshire

Lossiemouth is located in the county of Moray, which has a huge variety of outdoor attractions and events. The Moray coast offers stunning scenery, and many trails for the outdoor types. The Moray Firth is home to one of only three resident bottlenose dolphin populations in the United Kingdom.

The only Malt Whiskey Trail in the world is also located in Moray. Step back in time through the last millennium of our country's heritage and experience Scottish castles at their best on Scotland's only Castle Trail.

For golfers, the Moray Golf Club, which comprises the Old and the New courses, offers a real challenge to golfers of all standards, set amongst typical Scottish links settings.

Typical Scottish events can be found locally all throughout the year, particularly in the spring/summer; the majority are family-oriented and give a real sense of Scottish history and tradition, such as Highland Games, Scotch Whisky Festival.
