Kilcronaghan Activity Centre offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Tobermore. We are at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains near Magherafelt and are perfect for large groups and families. We are the ideal base to explore a range of attractions in Londonderry.
AccommodationThis 19th Century property was originally the Church of Ireland Rectory. The property sleeps up to 35 people in singles, twins, doubles and family rooms. Rooms are either en suite or come with separate bathroom facilities. We also have bedrooms which have disabled facilities.
The spacious dining room can comfortably seat 40 to 45 people. Access to the kitchen during food service is available via the connecting serving hatch. Meals can be provided on request. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs.
We have 3 meeting rooms available: the lounge, the sunroom and the dining room (out of meal times). The rooms are furnished to a high standard and fully accessible for wheelchairs. All the rooms come with PowerPoint facilities and theatre/classroom style layouts. Two of the rooms have beautiful wooden floors. We have a further education suite available which has seating and PowerPoint facilities.
Onsite we have a well-equipped conference centre. We can provide a range of meals and refreshments: tea, coffee, hot lunches, dinner and buffets. The two conference rooms both have PowerPoints facilities and theatre/classroom style layouts.
We have a games room and TV/cinema room in a separate building. We also have equipment available for basketball, football, parachuting and archery (an additional charge).
To the rear of the building is a secure courtyard and large grassed area. The facilities cater for anyone with a disability. Parking is available within the grounds.
Visiting Tobermore & Exploring LondonderryWe are the perfect base to explore a range of attractions. Just outside of Draperstown is Derrynold Forest. The forest has over 100 hectares of Forest. The ruins of the Old Kilcronghan Parish Church and graveyard are next to the Kilcronaghan Activity Centre. Along Slieve Gallion towards the Cookstown area lies Lough Fea which has a 4 km circular walk offering great scenery. If you have children, there is a play area and picnic facilities available. A number of great days out are nearby:
