Anvil Cottage is a renovated 18th century self catering holiday cottage, nestling in the grounds of Grimblethorpe Hall near Louth in Lincolnshire.
AccommodationAnvil Cottage is a spacious four person holiday cottage which has been lovingly restored to the highest of standards and has obtained Visit England 5 star rating.
Part of the original building once contained the anvil and forge which the blacksmith used when shoeing the working horses on the farm. The self catering cottage boasts quality furnishing and decor with all up-to-date appliances.
Facilities include: Twin bedroom, double king size bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Separate shower room. Private garden and patio, gazebo.
Lounge: The tastefully decorated and furnished lounge has the original beams and English oak wooden floor complete with chair and two comfortable sofas. For your entertainment we have a television, radio, cd player, video recorder and DVD player.
Kitchen: The modern kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, electric cooker and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a dining area for four.
The holiday cottage is fully centrally heated and all electricity used is included in the renting fee. All bedlinen, tea towels and bathroom towels are provided.
Local AreaVisitors can enjoy strolling around the surrounding grounds which include the tranquil lake and summerhouse. Anvil Cottage is near to both Louth and Lincoln and is set in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a prime position for walking and cycling.
