The Stables is set within 1¼ acres of a private garden adjacent to the grounds of Doddington Hall, a stunning Elizabethan mansion house which is open to the public. Tucked away in the small village of Doddington, the Stables holiday cottage offers the perfect place to get away, although Lincoln with its historic cathedral is only 6 miles away and the cathedral can be seen from the village.

The holiday cottage has been converted to a high standard yet contains many of the original features. The cottage sleeps up to 6 in two bedrooms with 6ft beds as twins or doubles, third bedroom with twins or one single.

Large sitting room with wood-burning stove, TV and DVD player.
Panelled tack room for reading or children's playroom with wood-burning stove and library.
Utility room with washer and dryer, chest freezer and separate downstairs loo and plenty of space for boots and coats.
Fully equipped kitchen.

The exciting Doddington Farm Shop, Restaurant and Cafe, IJ interiors store and Doddington Country Clothing are only 2 minute's walk away. The nearby city of Lincoln – just a 12 minutes drive, is steeped in history yet brimming in life. From the Roman ruins to the medieval Castle and Cathedral to the modern, University waterfront campus, there is a wealth of things to do, lots of places to eat & drink and a year-long programme of exciting events to enjoy.
