Forest & Alpaca Lodge offers self catering accommodation near the village of Packington. Both our cabins in Leicestershire are situated in over 400 acres of farmland, perfect for the ultimate countryside retreat.
Both of our log cabins boast luxurious hot tubs to unwind in whilst savouring the countryside views. You can even see alpacas or deer at certain times of the year. Each cabin is beautifully furnished and great for families or couples looking for somewhere special to stay.
This lodge sleeps 4/5 people and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay in the country. Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living area with comfortable seating and a TV, a double and twin room, plus a bathroom. The private hot tub is on the decking area and enjoys spectacular views of the natural ponds on our 100-acre woodland.
The lodge sleeps up to 4/5 people and is nearer to the farm, adjacent to our caravan and camping fields. Relax in the living area after a day sightseeing. Facilities include comfortable seating and a TV. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen. The twin and double rooms share a bathroom. A fantastic hot tub is on the private decking area, perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly which enjoying views of the alpacas during the summer months.
Our working beef and arable farm has lots of rare breed animals to meet, including Canadian bison, alpacas, red deer and Mangalitza pigs. You can also wander around our woodland.
Onsite we have a farm shop that sells delicious home-produced meat, homemade pies, jams and chutneys. BBQ meat packs are also available to pre-order for your stay. You can also enjoy some tasty food at our coffee shop, including our renowned rare breed sausage rolls and freshly prepared breakfast.
We are close to the historic market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, home to plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Visit the ruins at Ashby de la Zouch Castle or stroll around the scenic grounds at Calke Abbey. Staunton Harold Reservoir is great for bird watching and the area also has lots of picturesque walking and cycling routes. Further attractions to visit include:
