Bowland Retreat Lodges offers luxurious self catering accommodation in Great Mitton, nestled in the peaceful Ribble Valley countryside. Our intimate family-run site has the Forest of Bowland right on our doorstep, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are ideally placed for exploring a range of attractions in Lancashire.

We have a range of contemporary lodges to choose from. All the lodges come with Jacuzzi hot tubs to soak yourself, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The spacious lodges all include a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, dishwasher microwave and fridge freezer. Each lodge has super-king beds, a rainfall shower with handheld showerhead, TVs and a private decking area to unwind on.

Our lodge sleeps 4 in 2 super king beds or a snug twin option in bedroom 2. The bedrooms have en suite facilities, including 1 with a walk-in shower and 1 with a shower over the bath. The bathrooms open to the undercover starlit Jacuzzi hot tub area and the decking area offers countryside views.

This lodge sleeps 2 in a super king bed. The bathroom has a freestanding bath, a waterfall tap, and a large walk-in shower. Sliding doors open to a balcony deck and the Jacuzzi hot tub area features a starlit canopy.

Our lodge sleeps 4 in 1 Super king and 1 twin room. The rooms have en suite facilities, including 1 with a shower over the bath and 1 with a walk-in shower. The bathrooms open to the undercover starlit Jacuzzi hot tub area and the balcony area has outdoor furniture.

This luxurious one-bedroom lodge with a Jacuzzi features sliding doors from both the living area and the bedroom open out onto a private balcony deck. It sleeps 2 people in a Super-king bed and the bathroom has a freestanding bath, double sinks, an illuminated mirror and a spacious walk-in shower. Juniper also benefits from a private undercover hot tub area complete with a starlit roof canopy.

This lodge sleeps 2 people in a large super king including a 65’’ TV. The boutique lodge has been well thought out and has a bathroom with a freestanding bath and a large walk-in shower with gold fittings. The undercover Jacuzzi hot tub area has a starlit canopy and this is accessible from the kitchen or ensuite.

Our lodge sleeps 6 people in 1 master king en suite, 1 Super-king with ensuite and 1 twin room. A family bathroom has a shower over bath. The open plan living and dining area has doors that open to the decking area and open-air Jacuzzi hot tub.

Great Mitton lies in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, an area renowned for its rolling countryside and charming villages. Just a short drive away, the historic market town of Clitheroe offers independent shops, cafés and the impressive Clitheroe Castle, which provides panoramic views across the valley. Walkers can explore scenic routes along the River Ribble or venture into the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known for its peaceful landscapes and wildlife. Food lovers will also find excellent country pubs and restaurants throughout the area, making Great Mitton an ideal base for discovering this picturesque corner of Lancashire.
