Walmer cottage is a delightful fisherman’s cottage dating back to 1852. It is situated in the conservation area overlooking the sea. The cottage is ideally situated for those who want to enjoy the tranquility of the South East coast. It is only a minute’s walk to the Strand with its shops, restaurants, pubs and bandstand where you can listen to the sounds of the bands playing in the summer.

The entrance opens directly into a cosy beamed lounge with a comfortable three seater sofa and armchair, colour TV/VCR with Freeview and a DVD Player. There is also a selection of books, DVDS and Videos. A welcoming log burning effect fire which can be used in addition to, or in replace of the central heating.

The lounge leads into a dining area with a solid pine dining table and four chairs. Under the stairs is a fridge freezer.

Off the lounge a newly replaced kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen has been pfessionally designed with ample storage nd work space.

A door leads into a newly decorated bathroom with bath and new power shower. Handrails have been fitted for the bath and toilet.

The enclosed courtyard garden has a table and four chairs and BBQ. A rotary line is also available.

The stairs (which are quite steep and narrow) lead up to two bedrooms. The master bedroom comprises of a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a TV/VCR in the bedroom. The window has a magnificent sea view. In the second bedroom there are two single beds with storage and a wardrobe with drawers.

The cottage also has free on street parking.

Unlike many other property owners we realize that your pet is part of your family and may like to join you on holiday. We welcome well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Rates : From £220 to £425 per week depending on season.
Maximum 4. Children are welcome.
