140 Kingsdown Park is a Scandinavian style 3-bedroomed self catering chalet, comprising one twin upstairs, one double & one bunksroom and bathroom downstairs. The holiday cottage is fully equipped with satellite TV plus DVD/CD player, shower, microwave, etc. Sleeps 6 + cot. Kingsdown Park lies on the northern edge of the famous white cliffs of Dover in an area designated as of outstanding natural beauty, some 4 miles from Dover and 1.5 from Deal.

Park facilitiesInclude a heated indoor swimming pool with childrens slide and toddlers splash area, tennis court, laundry, games area, restaurant/take away and private bar. Watersports can be enjoyed from the pebble beach and there are great opportunities for walks along the cliffs and beach.
Local AreaA short distance along the sea road towards Deal there is Walmer Castle, complete with beautiful gardens, where the Queen Mother used to stay in her role as Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports. In Deal you will find another Tudor Castle, complete with cannons and dungeons, both built by King Henry VIII. Deal has many antique shops & quaint fishermenís cottages, some of which can be viewed from the end of the pier, where you can enjoy a drink or meal.
You can do the same in Dover and also visit the Museum to view a Bronze Age boat recently excavated under a seafront road. Also, exploring Doverís Norman Castle almost needs a whole day! Sandy beaches can be found at Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. Canterbury, Ashford & Folkestone are great for shopping, with local markets at Deal on Saturdays, Folkestone on Sundays & Sandwich on Thursdays.
John Aspinallís zoo parks are popular: one near Canterbury, the other near Hythe, where you can also enjoy a trip on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Miniature Railway.

Rates: £250 to £550 per week depending on season.
