Cuillin View in Ord offers fantastic self catering accommodation, nestled on the Sleat peninsula. Our unique upgraded Swedish Chalet on the Isle of Skye is perfect for a magical getaway in a glorious setting.

Accommodation

Our secluded chalet boasts spectacular views over Loch Eishort to both the Cuillin of Skye and the Cuillin of Rum. Whether it’s summer or winter, you will always be assured of a stunning view. The chalet is tastefully furnished and finished to a high standard.

Inside the property, there is a semi-open plan area including a sitting/dining/kitchen area. The living area includes an LCD TV with Sky, a DVD player and a stereo CD/iPod/USB player, plus a toasty log burning stove with wood supplied. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Additionally, there is a utility porch with an automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer. The house sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms: 2 twins and a double.

Outside there is a delightful, fenced garden roughly 200 meters from the sea. This is the perfect spot for a glass of wine whilst admiring views over Loch Eishort.

Visiting Ord & Exploring the Isle of Skye

The hamlet of Ord is in the south of Skye, offering some of Scotland’s most breathtaking west coast Hebridean islands. We are only 7 miles from the nearest pub and shop, whilst the village of Armadale is nearby. The ferry runs to Mallaig on the mainland and on the islands of Eigg and Rum. In Armadale, you can visit the Clan Donald Centre and Sabhal Mor Ostaig, the Gaelic College. Further attractions to visit include:
