Ard Shellach provides fantastic self catering in the delightful village of Salen. We are based on the Isle Of Mull and boast stunning views, perfect for an idyllic getaway.

Accommodation

Our cottage is part of the old customs house and has now been renovated to offer accommodation for up to 4 people. The cottage enjoys views over the Sound Of Mull.

We have a living room to unwind in after a day exploring the area. Facilities an open fire, TV, DVD player and CD player. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. The utility room has a washer dryer. A dining area offers views of the Sound of Mull and Salen Bay.

Upstairs there is a twin bedroom and a bathroom with an electric shower over bath. Downstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed.

At the back of the cottage, there is a field where you can often spot deer.

Visiting Salen & Exploring the Isle of Mull

Our cottage is perfect for seeing the lochs in Salen Bay, home to otters and seals. Minke whales, humpback whales harbour porpoises and dolphins can sometimes be seen on the coast. You can visit the town of Tobermory or venture further afield. Attractions to visit include:

Duart Castle.
Aros Park.
Eas Fors Waterfall.
Mull Aquarium.
Fingal's Cave.
