Knockankelly Farm is a small traditional livestock farm located on the picturesque Isle of Arran off Scotland’s west coast, where native Scottish Galloway cattle are bred. The farm offers a warm welcome to visitors in its two self-catering cottages, The Summer House and Saorsa and is especially accommodating to cyclists, bikers and walkers looking to explore the natural beauty of the island.
The cottage enjoys sweeping views of the Holy Isle and the Ayrshire coast. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped, it is open year-round, with short breaks available during the winter season. The property features electric central heating to ensure warmth throughout the year and includes a fully fitted kitchen with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Sleeping accommodation is located on the first floor and consists of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The Summer House is licensed by the Local Authority under Licence Number NA00545F.
Saorsa also offers stunning views of the Holy Isle and the Ayrshire coast. Comfortable, cosy, and well equipped, Saorsa is open year-round, with short breaks available during the winter season. It features electric central heating and a wood-burning stove in the lounge for warmth in all seasons, along with a fully fitted kitchen that includes everything needed for a self-catering stay.
