Alvie Estate has traditional properties located amongst farm fields & woodlands with superb views of the Cairngorm mountains. Located only 4 miles south of Aviemore, Alvie can provide peace & quiet or an unsurpassed opportunity for recreation & entertainment. Alvie Estate has been the home of the Williamson family since 1927; The property is a traditional highland estate including farming, forestry, field sports & tourism.

1 & 4 Wester Delfour – Sleeps 4 Each

Semi detached Victorian farm cottages overlooking the farm fields and woodlands of Alvie with tremendous views of the Cairngorm Mountains, good access to the Monadhliath hills directly behind. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double & twin) and a bathroom with shower, WC & washbasin (shower cabinet in No 1). Downstairs the kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher & washer/dryer; there is a separate dining room in No 1 & a large kitchen/diner in No 4. Both cottages have a living room with multi-fuel stove. The cottages also have a television, DVD & CD players; both have Wi-Fi access.

Park Cottage – Sleeps 6

One of our most popular cottages, Park has evolved from what was a traditional two up/two down stalker’s cottage probably dating from Victorian times. There is a secluded, sheltered garden surrounded by fields and immediate access to the hill behind the house. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (1 Double & 2 Twin Rooms), bathroom with bath, WC & washbasin, Downstairs, living room with open fire, pine-lined Dining Room with log stove, fully equipped Kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer and drying room. Additional Bathroom with shower, WC & washbasin. The cottage also has a TV, DVD & CD players & Wi-Fi.

North Wing – Sleeps 8

Attractive, comfortably furnished two-storey wing of Alvie House. Upstairs are 5 bedrooms, (double, 2 twins & 2 singles) & 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a large kitchen with breakfast area, separate dining room & large living room with open fire. There is also an additional WC on the ground floor. The property has a TV as well as DVD & CD players.

Top Flat – Sleeps 10

The best views in the house, south-facing, overlooking Loch Bourne towards the Cairngorms and Glenfeshie. This apartment is on the top floor of Alvie House and has 5 twin bedrooms, drawing room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, 2 bathrooms & an additional WC. Laundry facilities are available in the basement of Alvie House. The apartment has a TV as well as DVD & CD players.

For North Wing & Top Flat there are laundry facilities available in the basement of Alvie House and a coin box near the entrance to the apartments. Bed linen is included for all properties in addition to a supply of logs and coal when required.

Easter Delfour Farmhouse

Easter Delfour Farmhouse is a picturesque Victorian farm cottage. It has views over the fields and woodlands of Alvie to the glorious Cairngorm Mountains beyond. It can accommodate 4 people in a double and twin bedroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and cosy living room.

Outside is an enclosed garden with seating and stunning views of the Cairngorms.

Visiting Kincraig & Exploring Inverness-shire

Alvie’s self-catering holiday cottages are full of character and the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.

There’s lots to do on the estate, or head out into the mountains and make the most of the great outdoors. Alvie Estate is just 5 miles from Aviemore and 35miles from Inverness.
