About Culligran Cottages & Chalets

There is a choice of 4 Norwegian chalets and a traditional cottage. Pure magic! Come for a spell and this glen will cast one over you! Glen Strathfarrar, a Nature Reserve, is one of Scotland's best kept secrets and Culligran Cottages provide the perfect and indeed only place to stay.

Watch the wild deer and other wildlife from your window or feed the farm deer during a conducted landrover tour.

Ideally located for day trips to west and east coasts, or to Glen Affric and Loch Ness.

The Cottage: Sleeps up to 7 people in 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and a sofa bed in spacious sitting room. There is a large kitchen, bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs.

The Chalets: Sleep 5 or 7. Open plan living room with kitchen /dining area, a bathroom and either 2 or 3 bedrooms. A sofa bed in the living area can be used to sleep a further person. All are furnished to an extremely high standard, and all have double glazing, electric heaters, cooker and fridge.

Linen charged at £10 per person per week. Electricity is paid by a £1 coined meter. Open from end March - early November.

Visiting Struy & Exploring Inverness-shire

This estate covers an area of approximately 5000 hectares at Struy. There are 15 miles of private road, bikes for hire, deer farm tours, river walk trails, bird watching and fly fishing (salmon & trout) on the River Farrar. There is a 9 hole golf course within 5 miles and a hotel and inn within 1 mile. Local shop 8 miles.
