Accommodation

The Highland Club Apartments sleeps between 2 and 6 people. All the apartments are tastefully furnished and offer all the mod cons expected of high quality accommodation. All the apartments are in the Abbey and enjoy stunning period features. Lovely views of the Monastery gardens can be enjoyed from many of the apartments.

All the apartments have open plan living/kitchen/dining areas. The living areas have comfy sofas, Freeview TVs and dining tables. The kitchens are fully equipped and include a range of appliances to suit all your needs.

Bedrooms are a mixture of king and twin rooms. Some apartments have en suite facilities whilst others have modern, private bathrooms.

Some apartments have private terrace areas. Perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.

A range of facilities can be enjoyed in the apartments: iron, ironing board, DVD player, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests also have access to the indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Fishing can be done but equipment needs to be purchased from the local shop. A tennis court is onsite.

Wheelchair access is available in the ground floor apartments.

Visiting Fort Augustus & Exploring Inverness-Shire

Situated on the most southern tip of Loch Ness on the Great Glen Way, this historic and scenic hamlet is a popular tourist destination. Fort Augustus offers spectacular views down Loch Ness and is a paradise for keen walkers and cyclists with many beautiful walks around the area, the most popular being the Great Glen Way. At Fort Augustus visitors can also enjoy a visit to the Caledonian Canal Heritage Centre which details the history of the canal. Sit and watch the boats navigating the locks or explore the Clansmen Centre, where appropriately attired guides demonstrate 17th Century clan weaponry.

Visitors can explore the surrounding countryside by cruising Loch Ness, home to the world-famous Loch Ness monster. Take a trip to nearby Urquhart Castle, a classic romantic ruin jutting out into the loch. Both Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, and Fort William, ‘the Outdoor Capital of the UK’, are less than an hour’s drive and the famous Eilean Donan Castle. Many places to explore are nearby:
