Whether you want to relax in the solitude of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland or take part in the multitude of outdoor activities that Lochaber and Fort William can offer, we invite you to stay at Achnacarry.

All of our self catering apartments are renovated, decorated and furnished to a high standard. The holiday apartments were converted from the original Achnacarry Estate farm steading and comprise of two 3 bedroom apartments and two 2 bedroom apartments. Every apartment is fully equipped to ensure a stress-free, relaxing break in a beautiful country estate setting. The charming courtyard to the rear of the steading offers private parking, covered cycle areas and a shared drying room for all your outdoor clothing after a day outside. There is a shared lawn to the front of the building with picnic tables and barbeques available on request.

Heron

Heron Apartment is a new upper floor two bedroomed apartment. Heron offers a light airy and spacious modern open plan living/kitchen/dining area and has one twin bedroom and one double bedroom (king size bed). A modern family bathroom with bath and electric shower above is situated off the hallway.

Merlin

Merlin is a new upper floor three bedroomed apartment. Merlin has a spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area, two twin and one double (en suite, king size bed) bedrooms and a large family bathroom with bath and shower above.

Osprey

Osprey Apartment is a pretty character filled two bedroom ground floor apartment. Osprey has wood panelling throughout and offers a bright open plan living/kitchen/dining area, one twin and one double(king size bed)bedroom and a family bathroom with bath/shower above.

Ptarmigan

Ptarmigan Apartment is a new ground floor three bedroomed apartment with a stunning open plan living/kitchen/breakfast bar dining area. There are two twin and one double(en suite, king size bed)bedrooms plus a large family bathroom with bath/shower above.

Visiting Soean Bridge & Exploring Inverness-shire

The surrounding area has something to do and enjoy for all ages and interests. There are lochs, rivers, wildlife tours, fishing, walks and cycle rides, all on the doorstep. Nearby is Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK and the area offers a wide range of activities for all, from exhilarating walks to the top of Ben Nevis, winter sports or mountain biking at nearby Aonach Mor/Nevis Range, walking the Great Glen or West Highland Way. If you want to range further afield, Achnacarry is well situated to use as a base for touring the wonderful West Highlands and Islands. Alternatively, you can simply relax and perhaps take in some highland clan culture at the Clan Cameron Museum, try out the water of life at the Ben Nevis Distillery, or just enjoy the silence and the beauty of the place itself.
