Halford Hill self catering house is situated at the foot of Snowdon in the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park at Dinorwig. Dinorwig is famous for its Hydro Electric Power station which is built within the mountain. Recently renovated, the house is spacious, comfortable and full of character; ideally situated for discovering beautiful North Wales. The house is ideal for groups of 1 to 16 wanting to get away together and have the whole house to themselves, with the added luxury of a sauna.

About Halford Hill

The self catering house has seven bedrooms altogether sleeping from 1 to 16 plus a cot. There is limited off road parking behind the property for about 5 vehicles. With a small garden area to the side of the property for picnics and barbeques.

Ground floor: Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave & fridge/freezer. Large dining room seating 16. Bathroom with electric shower over the bath.

First floor: 4 bedrooms - 2 x double beds + washbasin (1) and 2 x twin beds + washbasin (1).

Second floor: 3 bedrooms and a bathroom - 1 x double bed + washbasin and 2 x bunk bed + single bed.

Basement/lower ground floor: Lounge, lounge/snug, bathroom, shower + sauna room (7 people) and a porch for storing bikes & boots with a sink and a tumble dryer.

Furnishings: The house is fully equipped. Initial supplies of toilet rolls, cloths, bin liners, bath cleaners, washing up liquid are supplied.

Heating & Lighting: Electricity and gas are included. The house has gas central heating. Electricity for the Sauna is included.

Bed linen: Bed linen is provided - beds will be made up for your arrival.

Cot and highchair are also provided but please bring your own cot bedding.

Local Area

The self catering house is located a few hundred yards from shops, including a bakery, butchers, general store, chemist, bank, outdoor shops, post office, restaurants including a Bistro, Chinese and Indian as well as the famous Petes Eats café there are fish and chip shops and pubs about 100 yards from the house. In Llanberis, there are many attractions including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Llanberis Lake Railway, the National Slate Museum and the Power of Wales exhibition which includes a tour of the Hydroelectric Power Station built into the mountain. In addition, there is boating and water sports on the lake as well as a lake cruise and walks in the Padarn Country Park.
