Ty Mawr is the original farmhouse at Eisteddfa Farm and offers spacious, comfortable accommodation ideal for families and groups of up to eight people. Set in a peaceful rural location, the house is easily accessible via a private driveway approximately half a mile from the main road. Guests enter through a slate-floored hallway leading to a bright and well-equipped kitchen diner with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, with additional fridge and freezer space, along with a washing machine and dryer, located in the utility room. The property features a comfortable sitting room with a piano, alongside a separate games room with a slate-bed pool table and dartboard. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided and the house benefits from central heating throughout. WiFi is available across the property, although signal strength may vary in some rooms due to the thick walls. Outside, the enclosed garden offers outdoor seating and a barbecue, along with beautiful countryside views and there is parking for two to three cars in front of the house. Up to three dogs are welcome, with guests kindly asked to clean up after their pets, keep them off furniture and upstairs and not leave them unattended in the property unless securely crated.
Bwthyn Bach is a self-catering cottage near Criccieth, situated next to Ty Mawr and offering comfortable ground-floor accommodation ideal for couples. The cottage features a romantic hot tub set in the garden, where guests can relax and enjoy beautiful countryside views. Located just under two miles from Criccieth, Eisteddfa offers an ideal base for a holiday exploring the many attractions of Snowdonia and the Llŷn Peninsula. The area is perfect for walking, whether you prefer the challenge of some of Wales’s most rugged mountain routes or the gentler coastal paths of the Llŷn Peninsula, with a wide range of activities and places to visit within a half-hour drive of the cottages. One of the area’s must-see attractions is the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion, just 15 minutes away, where you can explore beautiful gardens, browse unique shops, or enjoy a memorable meal overlooking the water. Popular Welsh adventure experiences such as Zip World, Bounce Below and Surf Snowdonia are also within easy reach and can be combined with visits to nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed.
