Bungalow 6 offers superb self catering accommodation in Pennal, based within the gorgeous parkland of the 50-acre Plas Talgarth Estate in Snowdonia National Park. We boast stunning views over the valley to the Cambrian mountains and are ideally placed for exploring Machynlleth and a variety of attractions in Gwynedd.
AccommodationOur bungalow sleeps up to 4 people and has shared access to onsite facilities at the old mansion house, with day charge available at £10 per day. There are heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, use of an onsite spa, a steam room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a children’s play area and a pitch and putt course.
We have a living room with a 43’’ Sky smart TV and a living flame gas fire. The recently renovated kitchen comes with a range of appliances: electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a dining area.
There are 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and 43’’ smart TV and bedroom 2 has twin beds. Both rooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower cubicle and toilet. All bed linen and towels are included. A cot and highchair are available on request.
Outside we have a lawned garden with a patio and garden furniture for al fresco dining.
Visting Pennal & Exploring GwyneddOnly a 10-minute drive from us are the sandy beaches of Aberdovey. Right on our doorstep is the Wales coast path, perfect for walking and cycling. A 15-minute walk away is The Riverside restaurant. Onsite you can enjoy the farmhouse bar. In nearby Machynlleth, there is a leisure centre with an indoor pool with a flume and badminton courts. Attractions to visit include:
