Clover Barn is nestled within the heart of beautiful Gloucestershire farmland and when the maize is growing high, for anyone who has seen the movie ‘Field of Dreams’, you’d almost expect Kevin Costner and ‘Shoeless Joe Jackson’ to come out from the rustling green leaves at any moment. Failing that, there is plenty of wildlife to enjoy and the views of grazing deer or clucking pheasants make it irresistible.
The barn itself was converted in 2007 and since The Countess acquired it during the summer of 2013, it has been refurbished to her discerning eye with the addition of gorgeous rugs, sofas and other furnishings. Never quite being able to stop herself from ‘tweaking’, returning guests will find little changes here and there, reflecting Lady B’s wish to create a homely and cosy atmosphere for all her visitors. (It’s not uncommon for a guest to return from a day out to find a ‘little house gift’ sitting waiting on the doorstep!).

Lots to see locally. Cotswold Wildlife Park, excellent, Westonbirt guided tour, brilliant. Chavenage House (Poldark), interesting and eccentric. Chedworth, great. Piazza Fontana is highly recommended as is Toro Lounge (Cirencester). Dog Walks in Sherborne Park.
The Campbell Family - August 2019
A lovely lodge barn. Enjoyed our stay!
We have had a wonderful, relaxing week. Thank you for all the extra 'Creature Comforts'! We loved our walks locally and afar. Cirencester is beautiful - worth several visits, especially Black Jack Street - Ice cream + Golden Cross Pub - excellent food and friendly service! Dog Friendly!
