The village is in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire. This is a beautiful and peaceful setting, yet 90 minutes from West London by car.
About ClaypotThe holiday cottage has been finished to a very high standard. Local crafts people have been used to create much of the furnishings and fittings.
Three bedrooms are available sleeping a total of 5 people. Birdsong is a delightful king size bedroom. It is a relaxing space with neutral colours. There is a wardrobe, desk and crisp white cotton sheets. The Wild Hare is a twin room. The décor is reflected by the name with pictures of a hare on the pillows and headboard. This room can also be used as a king size. The potting shed is a single bedroom or can just be used to chill out.
The modern kitchen Is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and freestanding cooker. On arrival there is a welcome pack with tea, coffee and Cotswold fudge. The dining area can seat 6 or there is seating available in the lobby area.
Relax in the comfort of the cosy living area with its open fire, TV, window seat and sheepskin rug.
Visiting Barnsley & Exploring GloucestershireBarnsley village has a church, pub and accredited hotel which is famous for its garden. Every year the village holds a festival which aims to raise money for the upkeep of the village and to bring communities together.
Cirencester market town is 4 miles from Claypot Cottage. It has an impressive church which is in the market square. There are shops, regular markets, places to eat and a selection of attractions such as Corinium Museum, Chedworth Roman Villa and Abbey House Gardens.
The Cotswolds is a wonderful rural area full of outdoor activities including walking, water sports, horse riding, fishing and golfing.
A wide range of things are on offer within the county of Gloucestershire. It is full of interesting towns and villages as well as a selection of attractions. Nearby attractions include the 840 year old Berkley Castle and 500 year old Tewkesbury Abbey.
