The Squirrels is situated half a mile from the small town of Nailsworth. The town has a full range of shops and facilities. It is approximately 4 miles from the larger town of Stroud. This has direct links to London. The M4 and M5 motorways are easily accessible.
AccommodationThe accommodation is on a split level. The upper level consisting of 2 good sized bedrooms (one double, one twin bedded, with an extra foldaway bed if required). The lower level has a large sitting/dining room. There is a hatchway through to a fully equipped kitchen which includes:
A double oven.
Finally there is a small shower room/toilet. All rooms have pleasant garden/country views.
Outside there is off-road parking for 2 vehicles and a small private garden for the exclusive use of the guests. Access and use of a further acre of gardens belonging to the property is also permitted.
All linen and towels are provided at no extra cost. Electricity and heating are included in the price.
Visiting Amberley & Exploring GloucestershireThere are plenty of opportunities for shopping at Cirencester, Gloucester, Bath, Cheltenham and Bristol. These are all an easy drive from here.
A footpath adjoining the Squirrels connects the property with many country walks and is close to the Cotswold Way. At the bottom of the garden is a disused railway line which has been converted to a cycle/footpath.
There are two 18 hole golf courses nearby and a glider site. Local places of interest well worth a visit include:
