A warm welcome awaits you at Tytanglwyst Farm Holiday Cottages. Our four self catering cottages, each with its own private hot tub have been converted from old stone farm buildings and are adjacent to the Farmhouse. The cottages are ideally located and are only 10 minutes from the South Wales Coast. There is easy access to the M4 motorway linking South Wales and London.

Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage sleeps up to 5 people Ideally 2 adults & 3 Children. Its rustic character has been maintained with white limewashed walls, flagstone floors with rugs, and exposed beams throughout. As well as central heating there is a wood burning stove and a basket of logs supplied. This comfortable well-equipped cottage has everything you could need with quality furnishings digital television, DVD player and Wi-Fi. Open a latched door in the passageway and you will find a wooden alternate tread stairway leading to a cosy attic gallery. From here you can peep through the spindles to the twin bedroom below. The modern well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave oven. The attractively tiled bathroom has a high ceiling, open to the exposed beams. Next to this is a twin bedroom with pine furnishings. The private hot tub is located on the patio.

Swallow Cottage

So named because before conversion it was a stable and home to families of swallows who returned year after year for the summer months. Similar in character to Ivy Cottage with whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and exposed beams, Swallow Cottage can sleep can sleeps 3 plus a pull-out bed. From the Hallway two steps lead through an arched doorway to the living/kitchen area. The room is comfortably furnished and well equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave oven, television DVD, and wi-fi. Although centrally heated there is also a wood burning stove for log fires – an ideal place to relax after a busy day out. Leading from the hallway is a double bedroom complete with nooks and crannies. The newly refurbished showroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. An alternate tread wooden staircase takes you up to a quaint gallery attic bedroom. Here you will find a single bed with a pull-out extra bed stored underneath. Children will enjoy peering through the spindles to the hallway below. The private hot tub is located on the patio just outside the door.

The Granary

The perfect place to relax in comfort. Enjoy a break in this lovely old character barn conversion furnished and equipped to a high standard. The Granary is a spacious detached barn of historical interest sleeping 6 people plus sofa bed. It has a traditional flagstone floor with whitewashed walls and exposed beams throughout. The cottage has full central heating and a blazing wood burning fire.
You will find a double bedroom en suite on the ground floor. The stairs leads to another double bedroom, twin bedroom and second small bathroom. At the other end of the cottage an old stone stairs leads directly into an additional seating area with sofa bed. A door way here leads onto the characterful gallery which overlooks the living space below.
The new modern well equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The extending dining table can seat up to 8.
The Granary has its own patio and garden area complete with a large private hot tub.

The Coach House

The Coach House is a spacious barn conversion which can comfortably accommodate 8 people(+ sofa bed + cot.) Similar in style to The Granary Cottage, it has whitewashed walls, solid wood and flagstone flooring with under floor heating, and exposed beams. Standing in its own grounds with ample parking space the cottage has a pleasant patio, garden and barbecue area. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer. There is secure storage for golf clubs or bikes.

As you enter The Coach House you step into a small hallway, which leads directly into the open plan living/kitchen area. The ground floor is all on one level with no steps. The living area is open to the high ceiling with exposed beams and an attractive gallery linking the upstairs rooms. The living area has comfortable leather sofas and a wood-burning fire. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a dining table seating up to eight. The gallery has a sofa bed and a comfy chair and partially overlooks the living area below.

All four individually styled bedrooms have en suite facilities with two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The ground floor double bedroom and bathroom are suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties. This bathroom has a level shower with seat and grab rails. (Please contact us for an access statement.) The other ground floor bedroom has two single beds. Upstairs you will find another double and a twin bedroom. The well-equipped Coach House has been converted to a high standard and is the ideal place for a large family or group of friends to enjoy a relaxing stay. The Coach House has its own large private hot tub; magical at night with garden lighting.

The Granary from £640 to £990 per week
The Coach House from £650 to £1,400 per week.
