Fernbank Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Horton. We are on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea and only a 5 minute walk to Horton beach. Our property in Glamorgan is the perfect base for exploring the local area.

Accommodation

Fernbank is a spacious family house at the top of the village. We are ideal for a relaxing break away.

We have 5 bedrooms that can sleep 10 people. Two bedrooms come with a double bed (1 with a basin), two bedrooms come with single beds (1 with a basin) and 1 bedroom comes with a bunk bed (with basin). All beds linen is supplied. On the first floor there is a bathroom with bath and electric shower. One basement bathroom is also available and comes with a bath, basin and lavatory.

Two ground floor sitting rooms are perfect for relaxing in. Facilities include a HD Freesat TV and DVD player. A large modern kitchen comes with an electric cooker, dishwasher, 2 fridges and a table that seats up to 12 people. On the ground floor there is a playroom with a double sofa bed.

A back garden, with outdoor chairs and a table, is accessible from the basement.

Visiting Horton & Exploring Glamorgan

Horton is a quiet village on the south of the peninsula at the eastern end of Port Eynon Bay. It is about 15 miles west of Swansea which is a seaside port with many attractions, good shops, sporting facilities and places to eat. The village has 2 small shops which provide day to day needs, newspapers etc from Spring to Autumn. There is a public house, shops and some cafes in Port Eynon which is about a 20 minute walk away, behind or along the beach.

Rates: £900 to £1750 per week depending on season.
Weekend breaks available out of season from £500.
Short Breaks min 3 nights.
