The Store & The Wedge offers charming self catering accommodation in Middleton, just a 10-minute stroll from Rhossili. Our two fabulous properties in West Glamorgan are 17 miles away from Swansea and only a mile from Rhossili beach. There is access on foot to glorious secluded beaches and The Mumbles is a 25 minute drive away.

The Wedge

Our delightful cottage offers a relaxing getaway in a tranquil location. The cottage was an original Gower Cottage and now offers unique accommodation, with lots of reclaimed furniture, fixings and fittings used for the interior. The ground floor has separate access from the main house and contains a lovely self-contained en suite bedroom, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Excellent facilities include a TV, Wi-Fi, facilities for breakfast (fridge, kettle and toaster) and an outside space, great for a morning coffee in the sun.

A continental breakfast is provided and parking is available. 2 soft top learner boards are available for hire and we can provide wetsuits.

The Store

This wonderful self-contained unit is great for a romantic break in a fantastic location. The property has a separate entrance and a pretty courtyard to unwind in, set within the garden. Formerly the village VG Store, this property has been beautifully converted to offer relaxing and comfortable accommodation. A full height living space has bi-fold windows and is brimming with natural light through the large windows. Lots of recycled wood offers a peaceful and calm space to enjoy. Outside there are two seating areas, including a secluded patio area with a chiminea, a lovely spot for al fresco dining in the evening sun.

The living area has a large sofa bed, TV with Netflix and further seating. A well-equipped marble topped kitchen has an integral fridge, oven and induction hob. Narrow stairs lead to a quirky bedroom (low roof space due to location). From the bedroom you can savour gorgeous views over the fields. There is a sofa bed to sleep 4. Additionally, there is a modern shower room.

Visiting Middleton & Exploring West GlamorganThe quaint village of Middleton is close to the small beaches of Fall and Mewslade. Surrounding the village there are cliffs, beaches and a hill, great for scenic walks. In the village, there is a National Trust car park and shop, a couple of cafes, a gallery and a pub. Nearby Rhossili is often referred to as the 'The Jewel in the Crown' of the Swansea area, offering some of the best beaches in the world along with estuaries, marshes, ring forts, castles and caves. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Oystermouth Castle.
Swansea Bay.
Glynn Vivian Art Gallery.
Swansea Museum.
Mumbles Pier.
