Brynteg House Cottages offers superb self catering accommodation in Cymmer Afan near Port Talbot. Situated in a wonderful location in the Afan Valley, we are perfect for a peaceful and relaxing break. Our 3 cottages in Glamorgan come with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

Pedaller’s Rest Cottage

This spacious cottage sleeps up to 10 people and is a great place to stay for a group holiday. The relaxing lounge area comes with a flat TV and comfy seating. The fully equipped kitchen has a range of facilities. We have 3 well-appointed bedrooms available. Room 1 comes with a bunk bed, double bed and en suite facilities. Room 2 has two bunk beds and room 2 has one bunk bed. A separate shower room comes with a WC.

Rose Cottage

Our charming cottage sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms. Room 1 has two bunk beds and en suite facilities. Room 2 has a bunk bed and en suite facilities. You can relax in the comfortable lounge area which comes with a TV, DVD player and an open fire. A well equipped kitchen is available.

Glyndwr Cottage

This wonderful cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is a lovely place to stay for smaller groups. The lounge comes with a TV and DVD player. A well equipped kitchen comes with a variety of appliances. Two bedrooms are available. Room 1 has two bunk beds and room 2 has one bunk bed. Both rooms share a bath/shower room with a WC.

All the cottages come with secure bike storage with cleaning facilities.

Visiting Cymmer Afan & Exploring Glamorgan

Lots of excellent attractions and activities can be enjoyed in the local area. You can enjoy scenic mountain bike routes or take a leisurely stroll through the open countryside. The Vale of Neath has become known as waterfall country where you can see a range of gorgeous waterfalls and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. Margam Park and Castle have beautiful ornamental gardens and a large mock castle to explore. A pub/restaurant are only a 5 minute walks away. Lots of excellent attractions are in the local area:
