Ship Farm Holiday Cottages consist of two barn conversations set on a working farm in the charming village of Rhossili within Glamorgan’s picturesque Gower Peninsula. Our holiday cottages are also within walking distance to three stunning beaches, one being Rhossili Bay which has been previously voted as the best beach in the UK.

This is a beautifully converted former local inn, offering spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to five guests, with the option of a sixth using a fold-away bed. The cottage features two bedrooms, one double and one triple with bunk beds and a single, making it ideal for families or small groups. Inside, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, along with a generously sized bathroom. The fully fitted kitchen includes a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, with a wooden dining table and chairs set on natural stone flooring. The lounge is comfortably furnished with two settees, occasional furniture, a TV, DVD player, exposed beams and an electric log-effect fire, all warmed by oil-fired central heating. Each bedroom includes built-in wardrobes and drawers, with all bed linen provided. The bathroom offers a bath, separate shower cubicle, basin, toilet and an electric shaver point, with towels supplied for use in the cottage. Outside, a private patio area with table and chairs provides the perfect spot for al fresco dining.

The Old School is a charming two-level cottage that sleeps 2 to 3 people, featuring a double bedroom upstairs with built-in wardrobes and drawers and a sofa bed in the living room for additional sleeping space. All bed linen is provided for your comfort. The fully fitted kitchen/diner includes a washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, with natural stone flooring throughout. The lounge offers a cosy atmosphere with a sofa bed, occasional furniture, a TV and a CD/DVD player. The property benefits from oil-fired central heating and also features a log burner for added warmth. The bathroom includes a shower cubicle and basin, while a separate downstairs toilet has an electric shaver point over the basin. Towels are provided for use in the cottage, and a cot and high chair are available on request, making it ideal for couples or small families.

The nearest beach is just a 5–10 minute walk away, with a restaurant and licensed premises also within a 10-minute stroll, while the closest shop is a short drive. Gower is renowned for its stunning coastline, offering a mix of sandy beaches, scenic bays and hidden coves waiting to be explored. The south and west coasts are characterised by wide sandy stretches and dramatic limestone cliffs, while the northern coast borders the tidal Loughor Estuary, home to a variety of nature reserves and rich wildlife.
