Hartington Apartment


Hartington Apartment is a welcoming, family-friendly holiday home for up to four guests in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, making it well suited to couples, families or friends seeking a relaxing break in the Derbyshire countryside. The spacious living room overlooks the village green at the centre of the site, providing a pleasant place to unwind and enjoy the friendly surroundings. The main bedroom benefits from an ensuite toilet and a separate family bathroom adds extra convenience. A well-equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy and the apartment is situated above the Callow Inn, accessed by external stone steps, placing you just a short stroll from all the facilities and attractions the park has to offer.

Okeover Apartment


Okeover Apartment accommodates up to four guests, offering comfortable country living combined with modern conveniences. A contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar overlooks the village green at the centre of the site, while the spacious living room features cosy leather sofas arranged around a log-effect fire. The apartment includes a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Outside, an enclosed area with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella provides an inviting spot for relaxed al fresco meals.

Dovedale Cottage


Converted from the farmhouse’s original barn, the oak-beamed living room features a cosy log-effect fireplace, creating the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Peak District and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with views over the village green at the centre of the site, along with a single bedroom and the family bathroom. A double sofa bed in the living room provides space for two additional guests. Outside, an enclosed area with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella offers a pleasant spot to relax outdoors.

Ashbourne Cottage


Once part of the farmhouse’s original barn, this cottage has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming country retreat full of character. The kitchen comes fully equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay, while the oak-beamed living room, complete with a warm log-effect fireplace, provides a welcoming place to unwind after a day exploring the Peak District. Upstairs, the accommodation includes a double bedroom with an additional single bed, a second bedroom with bunk beds, suitable for a child on the top bunk and a family bathroom. Outside, an enclosed area furnished with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella offers a pleasant spot to relax in the fresh air.

Park Facilities


Our holiday park offers a wide range of facilities designed to make your stay enjoyable and convenient. You can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming and paddling pools, open from 28 April to 1 October 2023. The Callow Top Shop stocks everyday essentials and handy extras, from milk and newspapers to wine, airbeds and tent pegs. The children’s play area sits opposite the village green in the centre of the site, right next to Arnold’s Games Room, providing plenty of space to relax while younger guests play; it is suitable for children up to 147 cm in height. For meals, the Callow Inn serves a tempting selection of burgers and pizzas and dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a lead, although opening times vary throughout the season. The Games Room is open daily for table tennis and pool, with seating available for those who want to make use of the free WiFi hotspot; guests can bring their own table tennis equipment or purchase bats from the shop. The fishing lake offers a mixed coarse fishery with species such as rudd, roach, tench, perch and both crucian and mirror carp. Wildlife plays an important part in the atmosphere of Callow Top and the fishing lake and surrounding nature reserve were created in partnership with the Environment Agency to support habitat management and environmental care.

We are within walking distance of the market town of Ashbourne and within easy reach of lots of local attractions including Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the Heights of Abraham, Trentham Gardens and Gullivers Kingdom.
