Carew Cottage is a Grade II listed stone terrace tucked away in the village of Carew, just moments from the striking ruins of the medieval castle and its scenic mill pond. Thoughtfully restored using traditional methods, including exposed stonework and lime rendering, the cottage preserves its historic charm while offering a high standard of modern comfort.
Inside, the ground floor opens into a generous living space where original beams and wooden flooring create a warm, inviting feel. The well-equipped kitchen is styled in keeping with the cottage, providing everything needed to prepare meals to enjoy at the farmhouse dining table, while the cosy seating area is perfect for relaxing. French doors lead out to a private terrace ideal for outdoor dining, with a gently sloping path rising to a small lawn beyond. A separate utility room provides practical storage for walking boots and beach essentials.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are set beneath the eaves, adding to the cottage’s cosy atmosphere. A charming, slightly narrow doorway leads into a stylish bathroom featuring a roll-top bath. The main bedroom offers a king-size bed along with its own ensuite shower room, while the second bedroom can be arranged as either twin beds or a king-size, offering flexibility for different guests.
We are situated next door to The Carew Inn, which serves meals throughout the year.
