Step through the front door into a bright open-plan living area where a welcoming sofa and armchairs are arranged around a smart television, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the coastline. Patio doors lead directly out to the enclosed south-facing garden, furnished with outdoor seating so you can enjoy morning coffee or evening sundowners in privacy.

The contemporary kitchen sits just off the sitting room and is equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer-dryer, along with ample cookware, crockery and glassware.

Two comfortable bedrooms lie off the central hallway. The principal bedroom is arranged with a double bed, bedside cabinets and generous wardrobe space. The second bedroom is configured as a twin, ideal for children or accompanying friends. Both rooms share a modern family bathroom fitted with a bath, overhead shower, WC and basin. Quality bed linen, fluffy towels and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided, while efficient central heating keeps the apartment cosy all year round.

Outside, the enclosed garden is laid mostly to lawn with a small patio area. A gate gives direct access to the private allocated parking bay.

Crail is one of the prettiest villages on the Fife coast, its 17th-century harbour lined with fishing cottages and artists’ studios. Wander down to the harbour for fresh lobster rolls, browse the independent galleries and craft shops on the High Street or pick up local produce at the monthly Crail Food Festival. The wide sandy curve of Crail Roome Bay is a ten-minute walk from the apartment, offering safe paddling and rock-pooling for younger visitors.

The Fife Coastal Path passes through the village, giving spectacular cliff-top walks towards Anstruther in one direction and Kingsbarns in the other. Golfers are spoilt for choice with Crail’s historic Balcomie Links barely five minutes’ drive away and the world-famous courses of St Andrews only ten miles to the north. Boat trips to the Isle of May depart from nearby Anstruther, where you can spot puffins and grey seals during the breeding season. Further afield, day trips to Falkland Palace, Inchcolm Abbey or the East Neuk’s many farm shops and distilleries provide a variety of excursions whatever the weather.
