Ronalds Cottage in Lochcarnan offers inviting self-catering accommodation on the beautiful Isle of South Uist. With breathtaking views across the surrounding landscape, the cottage is perfectly located for discovering the unspoilt beauty, wildlife and culture of the Western Isles, making it an ideal base for a memorable Hebridean getaway.
Our cottage sleeps up to 2 people in a peaceful setting. This recently renovated thatched cottage is well-equipped throughout.
Inside there is a sitting/kitchen to suit all your needs. The sitting room includes a flatscreen Freeview TV, CD player and iPod docking station. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a variety of appliances: a washing machine, fridge, electric hob and oven.
We have a double bed and shower room. Bed linen and extra blankets are supplied.
Outside there is a spacious dog friendly garden to let your four-legged friend run around in. There is a wooden seat to relax on whilst enjoying the views. We also have a panic bench and a BBQ is available on request.
We are close to a local supermarket and close to a renowned Hebridean Jewellery shop. Lots of beaches and a cafe are easily accessible. Visit the Loch Druidibeg Nature Reserve or see the Kildonan Museum. Attractions to visit whilst staying with us include:
