Accommodation
Our thatched cottage sleeps up to 9 people and is furnished to a high standard. The front lawn and the principal rooms all enjoy views across the water and reed beds.On the ground floor, we have a spacious sitting room to unwind in after a day exploring. Facilities include a TV and DVD player, plus a large window that offers views. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge and microwave. A dining room seats 9 and has a door that opens to the garden. There is a shower room, a cloakroom and a utility room.
We have 4 bedrooms on the first floor: 1 king, 1 triple and 2 twins. Most rooms upstairs have views across the broad. A family bathroom comes with a shower over bath and there is a separate WC.
Outside we have an enclosed garden to relax in whilst enjoying the view. A garage has table tennis and garden furniture is kept in the summerhouse.
Visiting Hickling & Exploring Norfolk
We are in a great location for enjoying the wealth of wildlife. Only a 15-minute walk is the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitors Centre. You can also see seals at Sea Palling and Waxham. A short stroll away there are 2 local pubs and activities in the area include kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing and fishing. Norwich & Great Yarmouth are only 12 miles away. Attractions to visit include:Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens.

Rates: From £900 - £2000 per week depending on season.
Bookings are Friday to Friday and we do accept long weekends only in the winter for £450.
