Seabank enjoys a prime location right on the seafront in Selsey, West Sussex, offering unparalleled proximity to the beach. This unique property incorporates two 19th-century Stroudley railway carriages that have been lovingly restored and integrated into its structure. These carriages, once part of the Brighton to London line, were repurposed as holiday homes along the Sussex coast after World War I. At Seabank, each carriage has been ingeniously modified to preserve its historic charm while providing cosy and distinctive living areas.
The accommodation features a living room equipped with a TV and comfortable sofa, a kitchen and dining area that boasts panoramic views and a woodburner for warmth and a bathroom equipped with a shower (note, there is no bathtub). Sleeping arrangements are provided across four bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1 with a double bed.
- Bedroom 2 with a double bed.
- A twin bedroom outfitted with bunk beds.
- Bunk beds and cot or Bunk beds and Camp bed.
Outside, there's a charming, fenced, beach-style garden with decking surrounding the property, leading directly to an often secluded and unspoiled beach.

"Our first visit to Seabank and it’s hard to put into words just how lovely it is. Even better than we imagined. We shall certainly be returning and recommending it to family and friends. The perfect place to de-stress and forget your troubles. The location is second to none."
"Our fourth visit to Seabank. We all love it – we order perfect weather and lovely locals who walk their dogs and chat on their way past. We are never disappointed."
"We had a fantastic time – could easily have stayed for at least another week! The weather was good; the setting was stunning. We didn’t realise Seabank would be so roomy; would love to bring our children and grandchildren next time. You have a wonderful place!"

"We booked this as our son, aged 6, is mad for trains – and it really exceeded our expectations. A stunning location and everything we needed."
"Beautifully kept. First time I’ve stayed on a train that goes nowhere and loved the journey."
