Inside, the cottage features a cosy lounge with an electric wood-effect stove set within a rustic brick inglenook fireplace, along with a CD/cassette player, radio and TV. This space provides a comfortable place to relax while enjoying impressive views of the Howgill Fells and the Lune Valley. The kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer and pantry, making it easy to prepare meals. The open-plan dining area offers a welcoming space to sit down and enjoy food together.

There are two comfortable bedrooms, one king room and one twin room, both offering views across the surrounding fells. These rooms share a bathroom that includes both a bath and a separate shower.

Outside, the enclosed garden features a patio area with garden furniture, providing a pleasant spot for al fresco dining and relaxing in the afternoon sun.

Sedbergh, set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the Lake District, is surrounded by a variety of appealing places to visit. The town itself is known for its bookshops and historic charm, while nearby the rolling Howgill Fells offer excellent walking routes with sweeping views. A short drive brings you to the scenic Dentdale, one of the most picturesque valleys in the area, or to the market town of Kendal, known for its castle ruins and shopping. For waterside scenery, Windermere provides opportunities for boat trips and lakeside walks, while the historic Farfield Mill showcases local art and crafts. Together, these destinations make Sedbergh an excellent base for exploring both countryside and culture.
