Summary

Holly Cottage has been established for many years, sleeping up to 5 in a cosy bolt hole from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. Set in the village of Balnain in Glenurquart, we are surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks a plenty. Many Inverness-shire attractions are within easy reach, including the famous Loch Ness and its monster.

Accommodation

Our holiday cottage sleeps 5 people in a double and family room. Both bedrooms are upstairs and a cot is available should you need it. To ensure guests feel at home during their stay, we have made sure that the cottage is comfortable and cosy. It is well equipped throughout. At Holly cottage you will find:

Lounge.
Dining room seating 6.
Bathroom with shower over the bath.
Kitchen.
Washing machine & tumble dryer.
At the front of the cottage is a conservatory. This is a great place to relax and watch the varied species of visiting wildlife in our large garden. We now have a bird feeder which is attracting many different species of birds also squirrels. All linen and towels are supplied and electricity is included in the price.

Visiting Balnain & Exploring Inverness-shire

Balnain is a small village in the Glenurquhart. It is approximately 5 miles from Drumnadrochit and is an ideal place to stay for exploring the Highlands and trips to Loch Ness. The Affric Kintail Way, a new long-distance route linking Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness to Morvich on the west coast, passes through Balnain. Walkers and hikers will love the area as there are plenty of trails starting from or passing through the village.

We are perfect if you are looking for a wonderful Loch Ness holiday home. Due to us being in the centre of the Loch Ness area. We are surrounded by pure Scottish beauty which makes a great setting for your next Scottish break away.
