About Water’s Edge Cottage

Water’s Edge Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable stone built family home with all mod cons, quietly situated on a no through road with easy level access and the cottage can comfortably sleep up to 6.

The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, fridge and dishwasher and there is a separate utility room with freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and WC.

The cosy open plan dining/lounge area is comfortably furnished and boasts flat screen, DVD and provides the perfect space to relax in front of the roaring open fire.

Upstairs, the spacious master double has its own en suite bath and shower over, basin and shaver socket and there is an additional spacious bedroom with twin beds and views down the valley. At the rear is smaller double room and a family bathroom with large shower cubicle, basin, loo, shaver point, hairdryer. All towels and linens are supplied.

At the front of the cottage is a small sun trap garden with views over the river to the wooded hillside and to the rear is a dog secure area with a grassy bank and woods above. There is also a level driveway that provides off street parking for 2 cars.

Visiting Lynmouth & Exploring Devon

Situated within Devon's Exmoor National Park on Devon's 'Heritage Coast' near the Somerset border, the cottage sits right on the bank of the East Lyn river in a deep tree lined gorge on the spectacular riverside walk to the world famous Watersmeet beauty spot and just a short stroll to the picturesque harbour. Here also, are the 'Manor Grounds' on the sea edge with beach, tennis and children's playground. There are plenty of places to enjoy a drink or a meal and additionally, in the sister village of Lynton, via the unique water powered cliff railway or by footpath.

Rates: From £520 to £1195 per week depending on the season.
Maximum of 6 people. A discount of £50 per week booking if only 1 or 2 people.
