Dairy Cottage

Our Grade II Listed cottage has been recently renovated to offer high-quality accommodation. The cottage retains many original features, including an open stone fireplace with a log-burning stove, beamed ceilings and exposed stonework.

We have a large lounge with Freeview TV, a DVD player and a log fire. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. A utility room houses a washer, tumble dryer & ironing facilities.

The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms: 1 ground floor twin en suite and 2 spacious en suite bedrooms with zip and link beds that can be made as a twin or super king. All linen and towels are provided.

Outside we have a small patio with a dining table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. A BBQ is provided.

Wodencroft Cottage

This Grade II Listed cottage sleeps up to 4 people, great for couples or a small family. Original features include beamed ceilings, exposed stonework and a wood-burning stove.

We have a sitting room with exposed beams, a wood burning stove, flat-screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen/diner comes with a range of appliances. Outside there is a utility shed with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.

There are 2 bedrooms: 1 king and 1 twin bedroom. The king room has a zip and link system. All linen and towels are provided.

We offer fishing exclusively for guests on the nearby banks of the River tees, with wild brown trout, salmon and grayling available.

Visting Cotherstone & Exploring Durham

Our cottages are perfect for enjoying the dales countryside, with lots of walking and cycling routes in the area. In the village of Cotherstone, there is a country pub and post office. You can visit High Force or wander around the grounds at Eggleston Hall. Attractions to visit include:

Hadrian’s Wall.
The Bowes Museum.
Egglestone Abbey.
The Bowes Museum.
Deepdale Nature Reserve.
