Nursery Cottage in Heron's Ghyll offers delightful self catering accommodation. Our cottage near Uckfield is surrounded by lush fields in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are in a great location in East Sussex, with the local towns of Uckfield and Crowborough just 3 miles away.

Accommodation

Our beautifully refurbished property is comfortably furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The house sleeps 4 people and ample off-road parking is available.

On the ground floor, there is a comfortable sitting/dining room with comfy seating, a 32’’ flat-screen TV, DVD player, music system, selection of books and games. A great spot to relax after a day visiting the nearby towns. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an electric cooker with a double oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. A laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron and clothes airer. Additionally, there is a shower room.

The first floor has a double room and twin room. Both rooms share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. All linen and towels are included.

Outside there is a secluded paved patio with a table, chairs and bench, a real sun-trap for al fresco dining when the sun is out. The large laid to lawn garden has pretty shrubs and flowers, with loungers and deck chairs available for unwinding on.

Visiting Heron’s Ghyll & Exploring East Sussex

We are perfectly located for visiting National Trust gardens and historic properties, walking and bird watching. Ashdown Forest is nearby and an array of brilliant pubs and restaurants are within easy reach. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only 10 miles away and London is around 45 minutes away. Great attractions to visit include:

Bluebell Railway.
East Sussex National Golf Club.
Bluebell Vineyard Estates Ltd.
West park local nature reserve.
Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
