Summary

Dick’s Cottage provides superb self catering accommodation in the quaint village of Cottesmore. We are based near the market towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham, making us the ideal location for exploring Rutland.

Accommodation

Our Grade II Listed thatched cottage sleeps up to 8 people and has been refurbished throughout, ideal for a family or group holiday.

You can unwind in one of the two living rooms after a day sightseeing. Both come with seating, Freeview TV and a DVD player. The open plan kitchen/dining room comes with an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & Freeview TV. A utility room includes a washing machine & tumble dryer.

In total, there are 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom comes with a super king-size bed which can be made into twin beds on request. A twin room is accessed through the master bedroom and a second master bedroom with a super king bed can be made into twins on request. The bunk room comes with two adult-sized bunk beds.

Outside the house is a large garden/patio area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visiting Cottesmore & Exploring Rutland

We are set in the heart of Rutland, only 5 miles from Rutland Water. Enjoying the shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants in the nearby market town. Activities in the area include sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, golf, mini golf, rock climbing, walking, fishing and birdwatching. Attractions to visit include:
