Summary

Fisherman's Rest is a lovely holiday cottage providing self catering accommodation situated in the pretty harbor village of Burghead in Morayshire. We are just under ten miles away from Elgin and within easy reach of Inverness and Aberdeen. Our holiday home is ideal for four people but can accommodate up to 6.

About Fisherman's Rest

The living room is cosy and traditionally furnished, with a TV and DVD player. There is a well equipped kitchen and a separate outbuilding with laundry facilities and a fridge freezer.

A ground floor double bedroom and a first floor family bedroom with double and single bed, they share a bathroom with bath/shower. Two z-beds can be provided on request. Travel cot can also be provided.

There's a BBQ for guests to use during the summer months.

Local Area

There are many things to do in the local area including exploring the town of Burghead which has a fishing history. The village is located a forty five minute drive from Inverness and around one hour and thirty minutes from Aberdeen. Activities such as walking, sailing, fishing, diving, cycling and golf are all available in the local area. Burghead lies in the heart of whisky country and within a matter of minutes you could be visiting world renowned distilleries on the only "Malt Whisky Trail" in the world.
