Lachies House offers self catering accommodation located on the magnificent Isle of Skye at Digg and close to Staffin. It is situated on the Trotternish Peninsula in the North East coast of Skye.

The house has uninterrupted views of the famous Quiraing Mountain and a short walk from the back garden are the most fantastic views of The Trotternish Ridge and open sea views of Staffin Bay.

Our accommodation consists of: Ground Floor - a fully fitted kitchen with large solid oak dining table to seat six, a king size bedroom with en-suite and a twin bedroom. The large bathroom has a bath & separate shower cubicle. Enjoy cosy evenings in the lounge with our wood burning stove, there is also a TV, DVD and iPod docking station. Upstairs is another en-suite king size bedroom furnished in vintage style. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout as well as free off road parking.

Lachie's House can be rented on a weekly basis or a short stay, minimum 4 nights. Enough breakfast groceries for your first morning are provided at no extra cost so that you don't have to go shopping when you arrive.

Kenmore Cottage

The cottage is equipped to a high standard, sleeping 4/5 it comprises of a double room and a twin room (+ 1 cot or bed). Both rooms are tastefully decorated and have electric heating. There is a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher - a lounge with comfortable furnishings, central heating, Digital TV,CD player & i-pod doc. The bathroom has a bath with over-bath electric shower, shaver socket and heater.

Barbecue and garden furniture are supplied for the garden.

Kenmore can be rented as self-catering or bed and breakfast (breakfast packs provided). Minimum stay is for 3 nights.

Anmara Cottage

This cottage can sleep up to four people. The lounge has a widescreen Freeview TV and there is WiFi throughout. The living room has fantastic views from it of the Isle of Skye. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would expect when on holiday, including a washing machine. There are two bedrooms - a double and a twin room. All bedding is included.

Local Area

Gairloch View is situated on the north east coast of Skye, in the quiet crofting township of Digg. It nestles beneath the Trotternish Ridge and the Quiraing hills, with views over the North Sound of Raasay to Gairloch and the Torridon mountains. This is one of Skye's most popular walking areas, a place where some of the most spectacular rock formations of the 20-mile long Trotternish Ridge are within easy access from the road. Gairloch View is an ideal base for walking, with The Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing Mountain Walks, the Trotternish Ridge, Rubha Hunish, Brothers Point to name but a few in this area, there are Sea Eagles nearby and there is a very strong chance of spotting dolphins, minke whales and basking sharks in the waters around this area. There are plenty of other good walks available without going into the hills.
