Summary

Carrabost Cottages offers wonderful self catering accommodation situated on the outskirts of Carbost, set on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Carbost village is located between the main climbing centres of Glen Brittle and Sligachan, both of which are just 15 minutes drive from us.

Cuillin Cottage:

Our charming cottage is nestled in tranquil grounds in a scenic croft, boasting amazing views over Loch Harport, the Red Cuillins and the Black Cuillin Mountain range. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a fully-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, plus a separate dining room. A utility room comes with a washing machine and large fridge-freezer.

Three lovely bedrooms are available: 1 double en suite, 1 double and 1 twin room. A bathroom comes with an over bath electric shower. Outside there is a garden, offering a great spot for a morning coffee whilst savouring the stunning views.

Davaar Cottage:

This fabulous cottage is next to Cuillin Cottage and is tastefully furnished throughout. Inside there is a modern kitchen for home cooking and a breakfast bar that enjoys glorious views of Loch Harport. A relaxing open plan living area is great for relaxing in after a day sightseeing.

In total there are 3 attractive bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single room. All the rooms share a shower room with an electric shower. Outside there is a garden which offers spectacular views.

Visiting Carbost & Exploring the Isle of Skye

We are ideally located for access to the Cuillin mountain range. The popular start points for walking in the hills Sligachan and Glen Brittle, are each approximately 8 miles from the cottage. The Talisker whisky distillery is the only one on Skye, where you can see how the whisky is made and sample a 'wee dram'. The castles at Dunvegan and Armadale each have lovely gardens. Tours are available inside Dunvegan Castle, while Armadale features the Museum of the Isles. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Talisker Bay Beach.
Oronsay.
Fairy Pools.
The Storr.
Quiraing.
