Ferndale provides charming self catering accommodation in the quaint market town of Church Stretton. We are nestled in a glorious area of Shropshire, boasting wonderful views over farmland and woods to the east and the Longmynd Hills to the west.

Our lovely, traditional family home offers lots of original character whilst offering quality accommodation. The cottage is set in an acre of mature, wooden gardens, perfect for an idyllic getaway. There is a decked seating area for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.Inside the property is a well-equipped kitchen for home-cooking, including a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining room has French doors which open onto the stunning garden. A wood burner will also keep you toasty for those chilly days. Unwind in the cosy lounge after a great day exploring. It includes a deep sofa and chairs, a wood burner and smart LED TV with Sky and DVD players.
Upstairs there are 3 attractive bedrooms: a king room, a twin room and a single room. All the rooms enjoy fantastic views and share a family bathroom.

Church Stretton is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - hosting stunning scenery it is perfect for walking, cycling & horse-riding. Its Golf Club is the highest in the UK! Gliding & para-gliding are also available with the Longmynd Gliding Club being one of the oldest in Britain! Or just come to relax, unwind & soak up the views!The town centre offers a good selection of traditional shops, tea-rooms and restaurants - only a 10 minute level walk from the house. Within easy driving distance, or with rail & bus links within ¾ mile, you can explore the delights of Shropshire and surrounding areas.
