On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area that spans the front of the house, making the most of the views. The property has full oil central heating, along with a wood-burning stove in the living room for added warmth and character. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom with a shower, along with three bedrooms comprising one king-size room, one twin, and one single.

The cottage is well equipped for a comfortable stay, with amenities including electric cooking facilities, a microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, Wi-Fi and a TV, along with a CD and radio player. Bed linen is provided and a cot is available if needed. Guests can also enjoy private parking, a garden and indoor drying facilities.

While set in a peaceful rural location, it is conveniently just two miles from the centre of Barnsley and only five minutes from M1 junctions 36 and 37, making it easily accessible. Located in the heart of South Yorkshire, Barnsley is surrounded by a variety of attractions that blend history, nature and culture. Just a short distance away, Cannon Hall offers a stunning Georgian country house set within beautiful parkland, complete with gardens, a farm and a popular farm shop. Nature lovers can explore Worsbrough Mill Country Park, where scenic walks circle the reservoir and a working mill provides a glimpse into the area’s industrial heritage. For art and exhibitions, The Glass Works is a vibrant cultural hub with galleries, shops and places to eat.
